Relevant Experience

Adam joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2018 having taught at secondary level for almost 12 years. After training across all Key Stages in a specialised two-year PGCSE programme offered by Bath Spa University in the UK, Adam then joined the Gryphon School in Dorset before making the move into international education.

Since then he has worked at The International School of Penang (Uplands) in Malaysia, Dulwich College Beijing, and at the Taipei European School in Taiwan before arriving in Singapore in July last year with his wife and young daughter.

Adam has a breadth of experience of teaching international curricula related to his subject and has also taught Theory of Knowledge for the past 10 years as part of the IB Diploma. As Head of Theory of Knowledge, he hopes to promote across the school many of the skills and applications offered by the TOK course that will help to enhance students’ learning, critical thinking and global awareness.

Adam is a keen trail runner, cyclist and swimmer and has participated in a few long-distance events and triathlons. He is an avid lover of music and plays guitar, ukulele and harmonica.
