Amy joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2016. She began her teaching experience in Brittany, France, where she worked as an English language assistant in a secondary school. After completing a PGCE, she taught Modern Foreign Languages (French and German), as well as English, for five years in a comprehensive school in Cardiff, Wales.
Since then, Amy has been teaching English with some French at Dubai English Speaking College for four years. As second in charge of English, her main responsibilities included English Language at A-Level and Assessment across the Key Stages. With the school's debate team she organised and participated in international trips to Yale University, Malaysia and Singapore.
Amy is passionate about travel, culture, books and languages. Outside of the classroom she is most likely to be found in a library, at a live music gig, the theatre or a maybe even a zumba class. She enjoys watching Welsh rugby games wherever she is in the world.
