Canice joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2020. He commenced his career in Ireland before taking up Head of Music and Performance positions at Marymount International School, Rome; The British School in Tokyo; and West Island School, Hong Kong.
Prior to his move to Dulwich College (Singapore), Canice held the role of Director of Music at German Swiss International School, Hong Kong. He is a passionate Choral and Orchestral conductor and a proponent of creating diverse performance opportunities for all.
Canice is a founding member and former chair of ISCMS (International Schools Choral Music Society), organizing music festivals throughout Asia since 2010. He is the founding director of the ICOHK (International Concert Orchestra of Hong Kong), and Celtic Connections Chamber Choir performing alongside professional orchestras and choirs in concert venues in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.
Outside of the classroom, Canice enjoys hiking, live music, theatre, cinema and swimming.
