Catherine joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in 2017, having previously taught for six years in Hong Kong and eight years in London.
Starting her career in London, Catherine taught all Primary age phases from Year 2 to Year 6. Her specialism in teaching mathematics to young children led to her being appointed a Leading Maths Teacher for the Local Authority. This position was furthered when Catherine was invited to work as a mathematics consultant on a secondment basis across all Primary Schools in the area. Catherine was subsequently appointed to a variety of leadership positions culminating in Assistant Headteacher in 2007. After moving to Hong Kong, Catherine joined the Senior Leadership Team of a British Curriculum School which specialised in dual language English and Mandarin instruction.
Beyond the classroom Catherine has a passion for Irish Dance. She danced with An Comhdhail in both solo and figure teams, winning many competitions including the All England, All Scotland and Great Britain Championship trophies
