Chris joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2016. Chris is an experienced KS2 teacher, having taught in a range of different Primary schools over a 13 year period and judged outstanding by Ofsted through five inspections.
Chris was Deputy Head and Y5/6 teacher at St Oswald's Primary School, Chester for the past five years. The school is currently the top performing school in the North West and in recent years has been ranked the top performing school in England.
Inspiring, innovating and motivating children to want to learn, improve and achieve 'beyond their potential' are the things at the heart of Chris' teaching philosophy. Chris has also been recognized as an outstanding teacher, leader and mentor for his coaching work with teachers and currently provides professional development to school teachers and leaders across Cheshire. Chris was Chair of the Chester Schools Sports Association and an Academy Scout for Liverpool Football Club.
In his spare time Chris is a passionate sportsman and competes in triathlon and Ironman competitions. He came to Singapore with his wife and young twins.
