Ciaran joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2015 after seven years as Deputy Principal and Head of Preparatory School at Kellett School, the British International School in Hong Kong. During this time, he was also Chairman of the FOBISIA CPD Executive Committee, which plans and delivers staff development activities to a growing Federation that currently numbers more than fifty British schools in Asia.
Ciaran attended St Mary's College, University of Surrey, where he studied Theology and Primary Education. Having graduated he took up his first teaching post in Chelsea. After three years he moved to Roehampton to his first leadership position as Key Stage Leader. Over the next ten years Ciaran became Deputy Headteacher and Acting Headteacher at the same school whilst completing a Masters Degree in School Leadership and obtaining the National Professional Qualification for Headteachers.
Ciaran is married to Catherine, and they have two children who attend the college. Whilst in Asia Ciaran has developed a love of scuba diving. Having gained experience he decided to "Go Pro' and is now a qualified diving instructor. In addition to teaching students of all ages, he was actively involved in two marine conservation projects in Hong Kong.
