David joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2016. He previously worked at Ystrad Mynach Primary School in South Wales where he was teaching in a Year 2 classroom. During his time in Ystrad Mynach, he worked in partnership with the Welsh Assembly Government in establishing innovative ways of using ICT in the curriculum. As Ystrad Mynach was categorized as a 'Teaching School' he was involved in supporting and inspiring teachers from around South Wales through lesson observations to demonstrate best practise.
David has taught in year groups across the primary age phase as well as taking on subject co-ordinator roles in the area of ICT. His interest in academic achievement and the aim of 'achieving excellence' led to the desire to take his career to an international level at Dulwich College (Singapore).
Aside from his professional career, David has always had a passion for travelling, including family holidays, missionary trips to Africa, and travelling to a number of European companies in his VW Campervan. David enjoys visiting new places, meeting new people and experiencing a wide variety of cultures.
