Laura has wanted to be a Primary School teacher since the tender age of 8 and finally embarked on her dream in 2005 in the sleepy hills of the Peak District in North-West England. Three years of teaching Years 4 and 5 in inner-city Manchester followed, before her love of travelling and discovering new adventures led her to Uganda in East Africa. Laura taught at Kampala International School for 4 years, working with Years 3, 4 and 6 and taking on the role of Key Stage 2 Coordinator.
In 2013, Laura moved to Thailand to work at Bangkok Patana School as the Assistant Head of Year 5. Her love of teaching and adventure led her to Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2015. Here she has been Head of Lee House for 3 years and director of the Year 5 musical. She is excited to take on the new role of leading Drama in the Junior School in August 2018.
