Relevant Experience
Helen joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2024, taking a break from teaching English to support the Design Technology and Art departments as a Technician. Before this, she spent six years teaching English in outstanding inner-city schools in London and Birmingham. During that time, she also served as Head of House and led on AEN provision within the English department. In the classroom, Helen is passionate about bringing stories and writing to life through creative, multimodal approaches.
Outside of school, Helen enjoys all things creative, including drawing and painting, sewing, and playing folk music. A keen linguist, she also hopes to learn Malay while living in Singapore.
