Relevant Experience
Pooja joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2023. She has worked with children for 11 years, of which 3 years have been teaching. She began her career as a teaching assistant at her local primary school in Central Bedfordshire. After completing her Postgraduate Certificate of Education in 2020, she worked in a primary school in Milton Keynes for 2 years, where she taught Year 2 students. Thereafter, Pooja moved onto supply teaching at various schools in Buckinghamshire for a year. She enjoyed the experience of visiting new schools and teaching different age groups.
Pooja has a keen interest in the arts, in particular dance and music. As a multi-lingual speaker, she loves to discover new music from different parts of the world. Pooja has previously run clubs in and out of school that were based around art, dance, and drama. She also loves travelling and exposing herself to different people, places, and cultures. So far, she has been to a few places, such as Spain, the Netherlands, and Iceland, each bringing a new and exciting adventure.
