Relevant Experience
Tom joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2025 after a history in leading Music and Performing Arts departments and faculties in high-performing schools in England and Kuala Lumpur. At the age of 18, after Tom won The Young Musician Of The Year Award for his county, Tom became a classically trained pianist and a brass specialist in a championship section brass band. He was also a songwriter and lead guitarist in a rock band and a Musical Director for award-winning theatre companies, all while heading flourishing music departments in large and exceptional schools. Tom has extensive experience in high-quality teaching, and has a track record of outstanding lesson observations from OFSTED and HMI inspectors.
Outside of teaching, Tom enjoys fitness and training, and making music in all forms.
