Appointment of new Head of Dulwich College (Singapore), Mr David Ingram
Mr David Ingram is to join Dulwich College (Singapore) as Head of College effective August 2025, following an extensive search and selection process, which included consultation with College leadership, staff, students and parents.
The appointment follows the recent announcement from Nick Magnus MBE, the current and Founding Head of Dulwich College (Singapore), that he will step down at the end of the 2024-25 academic year after 12 years of leadership.
Upon his appointment, Mr Ingram shared: "I am truly honoured to have been chosen as Head of School and am dedicated to upholding the values that make this community so special. I look forward to engaging with all members of the Dulwich College (Singapore) community as we embark on this exciting journey together."
Mr Ingram, currently the Founding Head of Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi, brings with him a distinguished record of leadership and innovation. Under his stewardship, the College has received numerous awards for excellence in technology, sustainability, and education. His alignment with our values and his strategic vision will be key in guiding Dulwich College (Singapore) through its next phase of development.
Mr Magnus MBE will be working closely with Mr Ingram over the coming year to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. Mr Magnus’s legacy will continue to play an important role as the College moves into a new era.
On the appointment of his successor, Mr Magnus said, “I am delighted that David will be taking the helm of Dulwich College (Singapore), and I am confident our community will be in excellent hands. He is a values-driven leader with the experience and vision to guide us on our continuing journey from good to great.”
