Class of 2026 Celebrates Strong IGCSE Results
The Class of 2026 is celebrating an exceptional set of IGCSE results, reflecting not only academic excellence but also the resilience, determination and commitment that have characterised their journey through Senior School.
Academic Excellence Across Year 11
This year, 192 Year 11 students completed their IGCSE examinations, achieving an impressive 99% pass rate. Nearly half of all grades (46%) were awarded at A* or above, while 73% achieved A*-A (or equivalent) and 88% achieved A*-B (or equivalent). The cohort also included 48 students who attained straight A*/A grades across all of their subjects.
Recognising a Shared Achievement
These impressive results are the culmination of years of hard work, supported by expert teaching, strong family partnerships and a community that encourages every student to strive for their best. They also reflect the breadth of talent within the year group, with students achieving success across a diverse range of academic disciplines while continuing to contribute to College life through sport, the arts, leadership and service.
I am immensely proud of the Class of 2026 and all that they have achieved. These outstanding IGCSE results reflect the academic ability, but also the resilience, ambition and determination our students have demonstrated throughout their IGCSE journey. They have embraced challenges, supported one another, and made the most of every opportunity. I would also like to thank our teachers and families, whose guidance and encouragement have played such an important role in this shared success.
This cohort has achieved exceptional results while continuing to contribute positively to every aspect of College life. They have embraced opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom, developing not only as learners but as confident, globally minded young people. We are delighted to celebrate their success and excited to see what they accomplish next in their journey at Dulwich College (Singapore).
Looking Ahead
For many students, these results mark the beginning of a new chapter as they progress into an expanded range of post-16 pathways at the College, including our new STEM A-Levels programme. Equipped with a strong academic foundation, a global outlook and the confidence to pursue their ambitions, the Class of 2026 is well placed to embrace the opportunities and challenges ahead.
