DCSG Expands Senior School Pathways to Support Every Learner
Over many years, our parent community has shared thoughtful and constructive feedback on how we can best support an increasingly diverse range of student strengths, interests and future aspirations — while continuing to champion the depth and quality of our existing provision.
In response, and in recognition of a rapidly evolving global education landscape, we announced this year that from August 2026, students will be able to choose from three clearly defined post-16 pathways:
- IB Diploma Programme
- Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Levels through a specialist STEM pathway
- Dulwich College (Singapore) High School Diploma
While distinct in structure, each pathway is underpinned by the same commitment to academic excellence, strong pastoral care and a holistic approach to student development.
The IB Diploma Programme will remain the cornerstone of a Dulwich education, offering a broad and rigorous academic experience recognised by universities worldwide.
Alongside this, our STEM A-Level pathway has been carefully designed for students seeking a more focused route through science and mathematics, enriched by practical learning, applied projects and personalised academic support. Importantly, this pathway has been developed with intentional parity to the IB experience, ensuring consistency in both challenge and care. The Dulwich College (Singapore) High School Diploma provides a flexible and personalised framework for students whose strengths are best supported through tailored programmes of study. Through options such as IB Courses and the Arts, Design & Emerging Media pathway, students are able to pursue pathways that align closely with their interests and future ambitions.
This development reflects a deliberate, longterm strategy to ensure our provision remains rigorous, relevant and responsive — shaped not only by global trends, but by the voices of our own community. Families have played an important role in this journey, and we look forward to continuing these conversations in the months ahead.
