Introducing Live @ Ave.8 Studios!

Live @ Ave.8 Studios is a new music initiative at Dulwich College (Singapore) highlighting our talented students from across Senior School.

Solo artists, bands or bedroom producers, Live @ Ave.8 has welcomed all onto the stage – having released three performances thus far (and many more to come this year)! This initiative allows these students, outside of traditional orchestras and choirs, to perform or have their music heard on a larger scale. Students can choose to perform original compositions or showcase a cover version of their favourite artists. These performances are professionally filmed and recorded in our state-of-the-art recording studio within the College campus. Think BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, KEXP, or NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts!

Spearheading this project is our Dulwich College (Singapore) music teacher Scott Riby; listen as he gets on camera to share the importance of music – the benefits of appreciating, listening to and creating music.

We’re thrilled to showcase our latest episode of Live @ Ave.8 with CC today, performing ‘Apologies’ – a beautifully sung original piece. Watch the performance on our YouTube channel here:

Particularly paramount, as an international school set in beautifully diverse Singapore, Live @ Ave.8 seeks to unite communities and backgrounds with a shared appreciation of music. One Live @ Ave.8 performance will be released once a month across all the College’s social media outlets, so keep your eyes peeled for some impressive and undiscovered talent coming your way soon.
