LGT Bank Singapore Extends Support for the Ranjit Murugason Sustainability Fund
We are delighted to share that the Dulwich College Ranjit Murugason Sustainability Fund has secured renewed support from LGT Bank Singapore, strengthening a three-year partnership that plays an important role in helping our students design and deliver meaningful sustainability and community projects across Singapore.
Since its launch, the Sustainability Fund has supported student teams as they research, plan and take action on real-world environmental and social issues—reflecting our Live Worldwise vision and Guiding Statements across intercultural awareness, wellbeing, environmental sustainability and social justice.
LGT’s renewed commitment brings its total support for the Fund to S$50,000 (S$30,000 previously committed and S$20,000 in additional funding over 2026 and 2027). This expanded contribution enables the Fund to back an even wider range of student-led initiatives and create more opportunities for young people to engage confidently with complex challenges.
LGT has worked alongside Mr Ranjit Murugason, Fellow of the College and Founder of the Sustainability Fund, since 2022 and remains actively engaged through both funding and mentorship. Each year, LGT representatives also join the judging panel for our Call to Action Awards, offering expert insight, feedback and real-world sustainability perspectives to students.
Hear from our Leaders:
“Live Worldwise calls on our students to take meaningful action in the world, and the Sustainability Fund is one of the clearest expressions of that vision. It offers authentic opportunities for students to lead, collaborate and see the real-world impact of their decisions. LGT’s support deepens our ability to provide these experiences, enabling more young people to engage confidently with complex challenges and make constructive contributions to their communities. We are deeply appreciative of their renewed partnership.” – David Ingram, Head of Dulwich College (Singapore)
“I am pleased to reaffirm LGT’s continued support for the Sustainability Fund. LGT’s renewed commitment strengthens the long-term foundation of the Fund and ensures we can continue investing in student initiatives with clarity, purpose and real impact. I look forward to seeing this partnership drive even more meaningful projects in the years ahead.” – Ranjit Murugason, Fellow of the College and Founder of the Sustainability Fund
