At Dulwich College (Singapore), music is a highly valued part of the curriculum. We believe that a love of music should begin with our youngest students. Every student in DUCKS (from the Toddler through to Year 2) has a music session led by one of our specialist DUCKS Music teachers.
Music sessions in DUCKS can be broadly grouped into the following three areas:
- - Whole Class Curriculum Lessons
- - Whole-year group choir sessions
- - Small group enrichment sessions
All children will also get the chance to perform in the various productions and concerts that the school hosts throughout the year. Some of these will be year group shows in the theatre or smaller enrichment/CCA performances. These might be formal (in the Alleyn Theatre) or informal (in the Black Box theatres or the DUCKS Music balcony).
Individual Music Tuition
Students in Dulwich College (Singapore) may elect to learn an instrument with our Peripatetic Music Teachers during school hours for a fee of $50 per 30 minute lesson.
