Junior School Outdoor Learning
Our planned Adventure Week offers an excellent opportunity for the students to spend time collaborating with peers, learning and developing new skills, physically and mentally challenging themselves all whilst enjoying the benefits of being outdoors and immersed in nature.
During the activities, the students will have to demonstrate the DCSG values of Integrity, Responsibility, Empathy, and Respect as they have the opportunity to put themselves outside of their comfort zone.
There are four different activity days, each planned and led by experienced and qualified instructors and supported by members of Dulwich College staff. All activities will have a focus on team-work, developing individual perseverance and resilience in addition to specific learning outcomes highlighted below.
Each student will participate in all four activity days with their tutor groups. We expect all students to participate as the activities are a vital part of the College's Outdoor Education curriculum which is key to living worldwise.
