My Dulwich Story: Darcy
At Dulwich College (Singapore), I’ve had the chance to step out of my comfort zone and discover who I truly am. Through programs like Changemakers and my DUCKS project, I’ve found how rewarding it is to give back and see the positive impact of my work. Watching younger students take up projects I’ve started and make them their own is one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had.
Collaboration has been at the heart of everything I’ve done. From service projects to the 24-hour race, I’ve realized that none of these achievements happen alone—it’s the teamwork that makes them special. Beyond service, I’ve also discovered my passion for science, especially chemistry and biology. It hasn’t always been easy, but with the support of my teachers and peers, I’ve turned challenges into some of my biggest successes. Now, I’m excited to pursue a career in medicine, where I can combine my love for science with my commitment to helping others.
Chemistry in the Senior School
Dulwich College (Singapore) has shown me that hard work and curiosity can turn a difficult subject into something I genuinely enjoy and appreciate. Chemistry was tough for me at first, but school provided the support I needed to push through the challenges—and now, it’s become one of my favorite subjects. Whether it’s science, creative clubs, or even just trying something new, Dulwich has given me the confidence to push my own boundaries. I now see a future where I can combine these interests by pursuing medicine at university; bringing together science, teamwork, and community impact into something meaningful.

Service Learning in the Senior School
At Dulwich College (Singapore), I’ve been given many opportunities to explore what service truly means. Watching older students lead by example made me want to be just like them. Now, it’s my turn to pay it forward. Working on our mentorship programme has helped me realise how rewarding it is to give back, especially within a school that values character and community just as it does academic success. It feels amazing to share what I’ve learned and to see others find their own passions and strengths. Dulwich College (Singapore) has really inspired me to leave a meaningful impact and embrace service as a core part of who I am.
