My Dulwich Story: Max
What I most like about Dulwich College (Singapore) is that I have the freedom to pursue many different interests. Whether I’m in the art room, on the sports field, or exploring a new book in the library, I’m able to dive into whatever interests me. This variety makes school exciting and keeps me open to discovering new passions. My teachers encourage me to explore without any limits — and that’s made me curious and adventurous in everything I do.
Art in the Junior School
Art at Dulwich College (Singapore) is where I get to be myself and embrace creativity. I love how relaxed the art room feels—you can work hard, share ideas with friends, and still have fun at the same time. Watercolor is my favorite because it lets me control how bold or subtle each color is, and I can blend them in my own way. Art here isn’t about following instructions; it’s about showing your own interpretation and putting your unique touch on things. That freedom to create makes art one of my favorite parts of being at Dulwich College (Singapore).

Rugby in the Junior School
Playing sport at Dulwich College (Singapore) has taught me so much about what it means to be part of a team. Our coaches always remind us that it’s not about one person; it’s about everyone working together. I’ve learned that success really comes from supporting your team-mates, and that true leadership isn’t about being the best player—it’s about helping everyone else to do their best too. I’m grateful to Dulwich College (Singapore) for teaching me that teamwork and unity are what make us strong, and I know I’ll carry these lessons with me wherever I go.
