Relevant Experience
Abbie joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2022 following 6 years of international teaching in the United Arab Emirates. During this time Abbie gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in Reception and Key Stage 1, whilst leading the Science Curriculum for Junior school and holding the role of STEAM coordinator for the campus.
Abbie was fortunate to grow up in a multicultural locale, spending some of her primary school years living in Spain. This ignited her love for being a part of an international school setting. As a qualified Girlguiding leader, Abbie has a passion for creating adventures that nurture children to develop the skills and confidence to strive for excellence. In the classroom she adopts a hands-on approach to learning and works hard to creatively inspire lifelong learners.
Beyond the classroom, Abbie enjoys travelling the globe and being immersed in new cultures and traditions, having volunteered in India and enjoyed many sun and snow trips with family and friends. She is an avid Formula 1 fan and always seeks opportunities to learn new things.
