Relevant Experience

Abi joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2022. She began her teaching career in Year 1 at an Outstanding Infant School in Surrey, UK. Prior to this she completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Education in schools across Brighton, UK. Abi has gained experience in international roles including time in Reception at the International School of Moscow. Beyond primary education, Abi has also enjoyed teaching English as a Foreign language to a range of students from Korea and Japan.

It was during summers volunteer teaching English in Laos and the Philippines that Abi’s passion for education and supporting children’s learning and curiosity started. 

Abi was born and raised in Saudi Arabia where she attended an international school before moving to the UK for university. Due to this she has a strong love for travel and culture, having split time between her parents’ nations of Ireland and the Philippines while also travelling to as many countries as possible. In her free time she loves to explore new places, reading, and spending time in nature, climbing, hiking and swimming.
