Relevant Experience

Aileen joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2020 as a Dance and Drama teacher with over 12 years’ experience. Originally from Hong Kong, she began her teaching career in Edinburgh at The Mary Erskine School where she taught Physical Education and Dance. Her love of Asian culture, food and tropical weather brought her to Singapore where she taught at Tanglin Trust School for 6 years developing dance, including the introduction of GCSE Dance.

She now returns to Singapore following 4 years at King’s College Alicante in Spain, where she taught Dance and Drama. In each school, Aileen has been instrumental in developing the Performing Arts for all ages in the curriculum, co-curricular activities, organising dance showcases and choreographing for productions and musicals.

Aileen is also passionate about yoga, health and wellbeing. In her leisure time she particularly enjoys outdoor activities in nature with her husband and two children.
