Relevant Experience
Anand joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in January 2024. His first foray into teaching began at 16, when he was a women’s artistic gymnastics coach in London. After studying Psychology in Exeter, he began teaching in Ipswich, through the Teach First Leadership Development Programme, teaching primarily in Key Stage 2, while also leading on Computing and Year 6.
After four years in Ipswich, Anand moved to London to teach at a school near Canary Wharf where he led on Computing, before moving to a Multi-Academy Trust where he was a specialist computing teacher for Key Stage 1 and 2 across three primary schools. While being a specialist teacher, he consulted with a variety of schools to support them in developing their own computing curriculum. Throughout his career, he has been a technology innovator, finding new and exciting ways to bring technology into the classroom, whether that be through robotics or videography.
Outside of school, Anand particularly enjoys travelling. He also enjoys watching sports (particularly rugby and gymnastics) and adding to his wide and varied collection of gadgets.
