Relevant Experience
Andrea joined Dulwich College (Singapore) as a Reception Teacher in August 2023. She has previously worked at a variety of primary schools in the North West of England and Wales during her training, and as a class teacher in a primary school in Liverpool. Recently Andrea has had experience working with pre-school children since moving to the Isle of Man. This experience allowed her to develop her knowledge of working with younger children in their journey into primary school.
Andrea has a keen interest in water sports; she has played water polo from a young age and captained her university team to the British University Championship finals. Andrea believes sports provide an excellent environment for foster relationships with others, healthy competition, and determination when developing skills.
Andrea has a passion for exploring new places and extending her knowledge of other cultures. This passion has led to her exploring countries such as Australia, USA, Denmark, Romania, Bali, and Thailand to name a few. Andrea took part in a student exchange during University and taught in a middle school in Sweden.
