Relevant Experience
Chris returned to Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2019. Having been a UK Deputy Headteacher for 6 years as well as an Acting Headteacher, Head of Year, Curriculum Leader and class teacher over a 16-year teaching career, Chris is an experienced educational leader who has been involved in strategic school improvement and helping to move schools from good to outstanding. Chris has spent some time delivering training courses for new and experienced teachers as well as supporting school leaders through his role in the Cheshire advisory service and more recently has been a school Governor.
Chris has recently gained NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship) and will now be completing his Masters in Educational Leadership. Chris believes strongly in making use of current educational research and putting this into practice using his own experience.
Chris has driven many different curriculum areas in schools, but ICT and innovation through technology has been at the forefront of his recent practice. He is joined at the College by his wife Jessica, a teacher in DUCKS, and his three children.
