Relevant Experience
Claire joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2016 with more than 10 years' experience of teaching across Years 2, 3 and 4. In recent years, she has led the teaching and learning in Year 2 and co-ordinated provision for children with additional needs across the Primary age range at Copmanthorpe Primary School in York, UK. As part of this role she has undertaken significant extra professional development to widen her subject knowledge and teaching approaches. She is fully committed to nurturing a love of learning and allowing children's confidence and self-belief to grow by providing creative, inspiring and personalised learning tasks.
Outside of school Claire enjoys being creative with sewing and renovation projects. She likes cycling, yoga, pilates and dancing, but most of all loves spending quality time with her family and friends. She is joined in Singapore by her husband and their two daughters. They very much enjoy experiencing new places, people, food and cultures, being outdoors, and having new adventures.
