Relevant Experience
Felicia joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in February 2023. She has over ten years of teaching experience in secondary schools in Singapore and is a strong believer in life-long learning and recently completed her Masters with University of Melbourne.
Felicia has a particular interest in integrating technology with the learning of Science. She aims to inspire a sense of awe and delight as she guides her students to make connections between the different facets of Chemistry and their daily lives, and in the process developing the students into creative and self-directed learners.
Aside from her responsibilities in teaching, Felicia enjoys the great outdoor and take pride in crafting out time to exercise for she believes this builds mental resilience and discipline. She hopes to imbue in her students that in all of life’s pursuits, the journey usually matters more than the destination. In particular, Felicia hopes her students will not be caught up in achieving academic targets so much that they overlook the joy and fulfilment of the learning process, which is similar to the process of attaining a healthy lifestyle.
