Relevant Experience
Grace joined Dulwich College Singapore in August 2025. She has dedicated 15 years to her career in education, gaining extensive experience as a class teacher teaching a range of students in the primary years. She began her teaching career in the Philippines as an early years teacher where she was appointed to lead the literacy development program to design meaningful and age appropriate language learning experiences for young children. She then moved to the UK where she completed her Master’s in Education from University College London, while also working as a Reading Intervention Teacher in an OFSTED Outstanding primary school in London.
After graduating, Grace went on to teach Years 3 to Year 5 in international schools in Japan and Singapore. During this time, she promoted inquiry based learning by creating inclusive and engaging learning environments that empower students to become confident learners. Grace has successfully taken on leadership roles to promote literacy initiatives across primary schools in order to nurture a growing community of young readers. Grace is passionate about ensuring a balanced approach to teaching that prioritises both academic excellence and the well-being of her students.
Outside of the classroom, Grace loves to travel and visit new places. She enjoys exploring exciting new cultures and cuisines from around the world. As a music and theatre lover, Grace loves going to concerts and watching musicals. In her spare time, she also enjoys spending quality time relaxing with close friends and family.
