Relevant Experience
Irina joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2019. She trained to be a Teacher of German as a Foreign Language and enjoyed teaching students and adults in Munich, Germany. After receiving her second qualification, a Master of Arts in Chinese Studies, Irina moved to Shanghai, China, and joined the British International School as a German Teacher.
Over the past 11 years Irina has set up and developed consistent provision of German language teaching for both native and non-native levels across Primary and Secondary schools. She was appointed to be Head of Modern Foreign Languages at BISS in 2017. Irina is a passionate linguist; she speaks English, German, Russian and Mandarin and is currently conquering French.
Outside the classroom Irina enjoys outdoor activities. She also loves Zumba and travelling.
