Relevant Experience
Jonathan graduated in 1991 and became a teacher in 1995. His first two jobs were in Gillingham in Kent, where he taught GCSE and 'A' Level Geography.
He began his overseas teaching career in 1999 when he moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he taught at the Alice Smith School and was Head of Humanities. It was in Malaysia that he met his wife Helen, who will be teaching Science at DCSG. Jonathan then moved to The Netherlands for two years where he taught History and Geography, before returning to Asia in 2008.
Since then he has been teaching Geography to IB Diploma level and History at King George V School in Kowloon, and was also subject leader for Global Development and Global Perspectives. Jonathan joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2015.
