Having completed her undergraduate studies in sociology, Lizi was awarded a scholarship to pursue a master's degree in sociology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. It was during this transformative period that she unearthed her true passion for education, propelling her into the dynamic realm of early childhood education.

Driven by her newfound vocation, Lizi attained a second master's degree in early childhood education from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2014. Over the past decade, she has honed her expertise across diverse educational settings in Hong Kong and Singapore, including working as a Mandarin teacher in preschool settings.

After relocating to Singapore from Hong Kong with her family Lizi continued her pedagogical journey teaching at a Montessori school.
