Relevant Experience
Lucy joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2022. She has previously worked at Dulwich College Shanghai, and was very excited about returning to the Dulwich family of schools.
Lucy possesses a wealth of experience in Early Years education, having worked as a Head of Nursery and as a mentor and assessor for Early Years teachers in the UK. She is originally from Derby, in the UK. After living and teaching in Shanghai, she spent five years in Cairo and more recently, a year in Kuala Lumpur.
In her previous teaching roles, she was also responsible for Additional Educational Needs and Learning Support across Early Years. Lucy is passionate about positive parenting and has been involved in parenting support groups both as a mother and as an Early Years educator.
On a personal level, Lucy has a keen interest in meditation and poetry. She loves to write and publish new poems, seeking inspiration from the wonderful locations and cultures she has travelled to and lived in.
