Relevant Experience

Olivia joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2021. As part of the Concurrent Education program, she completed placements in several locations including Canada, UK, and Hong Kong as part of her teacher training. Olivia began her professional teaching career at an international school in Macau, eventually becoming the English department head during her three years there. She then completed her Master’s in Youth Justice in the UK before moving to Shenzhen for two years where she was appointed the head of the English and EAL department in the senior school in the latter year. Outside of classroom teaching, Olivia has enjoyed leading extra-curricular activities such as supervising the Student Council, coaching students for debate and speech competitions, as well as leading intramural sports for students of all ages.

In her spare time, Olivia is passionate about art, travel, and exercise. Outside of the classroom, she can likely be found sketching in a coffee shop or exploring new places around the city she lives in. Having trained for many years as a black belt in Taekwondo, Olivia has recently taken up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a new challenge.
