Relevant Experience
Simon joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in 2017, having previously taught in both the UK and Thailand. Over the course of his career, he has taught in every year group, bringing a broad perspective and adaptability to his teaching.
Simon is the College’s Approaches to Learning (ATL) Lead, a role focused on developing students’ skills in areas such as critical thinking, collaboration, self-management, and creative problem-solving. Prior to this, he served as the Junior School’s Learning Innovation Coach, supporting staff and students in integrating new technologies and creative approaches to learning.
Outside the classroom, Simon has a wide range of interests. He is an enthusiastic basketball player and coach, and has won several LEGO design competitions, combining his passion for creativity with hands-on building. A keen LEGO educator and cardboard engineer, he enjoys finding inventive ways to bring design and making into learning. Simon’s artistic interests span sketching, watercolours, and digital art, often inspired by his love of zoology and the natural world. Like many international teachers, he enjoys travelling to new destinations and experiencing different cultures.
