Relevant Experience
Uma joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in March 2021 as a Business and Economics Teacher. She has taught in several international schools in Singapore and India and also led the training and curriculum design department in her previous roles.
Uma has rich industry experience which is essential for bridging academic knowledge to industry requirements. Uma's focus is on ensuring that each child is given the appropriate tools and opportunities to realise their potential. She has also been an advisor to entrepreneurship programmes for students.
Uma’s multicultural exposure, along with her openness to embrace creativity and ideas, led her to pursue Mandala Art as a therapeutic hobby which helps in achieving focus with calmness. She engages in volunteer work on a regular basis and also contributes her art to raise funds for charity.
