Vicki has taught a wide range of subjects to a varying range of ages and abilities over her teaching career, including leading a D&T Department catering to KS2, KS3, GCSE and A Level Product design, and leading a Forest school programme.
Vicki is a strong believer in the benefit of young people taking an active part in charity activities and she is always looking to provide opportunities for students to get involved in solving or supporting local or global charitable and environmental matters. She has previously taken students to Zambia and Cambodia to support projects such as building dormitories and teaching IT skills to make a difference to the people in the village and local schools.
Outside of the classroom Vicki has a passion for physical activity, having previously taught PE programmes, and she is currently a Level 2 swimming coach. For her own personal enjoyment, she is an active player and coach of the SG Underwater hockey team. Vicki loves travelling, meeting with local people to learn about their cultures and traditions. She takes the experiences in her life to inspire and engage her students. She is passionate about life and learning and she wishes to share these with the eager minds in the classroom.
