Relevant Experience
Jenny joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2016 as Head of Mandarin in the Junior School. Originally from Shanghai, she moved to Singapore with her husband and daughter, bringing with her many years of experience in international schools where she taught Mandarin, and served as a department coordinator.
Passionate about teaching Mandarin in multicultural settings, Jenny is dedicated to nurturing students’ language skills and intercultural understanding through inclusive, engaging, and innovative approaches. She enjoys working collaboratively across departments to promote Mandarin learning through meaningful activities and community events - Lunar New Year celebrations being a particular highlight. Jenny is an enthusiastic player of Guzheng - a Chinese traditional string instrument - and has been performing with her daughter in Singapore.
Outside the classroom, Jenny enjoys reading, listening to music, playing badminton, and exploring the rich cultural diversity of Singapore.
