We are thrilled to share our Bilingual Curriculum Programme has been recognised as a Silver Winner, placing it among the very best on the island. In an increasingly global world, linguistic agility is key to success, and this award affirms our ongoing commitment to nurturing confident, multilingual learners.
At Dulwich College (Singapore), language begins early. From the age of two, our youngest children are immersed in Mandarin throughout the day alongside a Chinese co-teacher. From Reception to Year 2, students continue to build fluency through differentiated daily Mandarin lessons for up to one hour, tailored to every child’s ability.
As students progress through Junior School through to Senior School, their journey is further strengthened by the innovative Wo Hui Method which revolutionises language learning by separating speaking and listening from reading and writing, prioritising real communication over memorising by repetition. As the method reminds us, “It’s not what you know, but what you can do with what you know”.
