Art & Design - Dulwich Olympiad 2024

Welcome to the Art and Design Olympiad, offering three distinct pathways: Fine Art, Applied Art and Design, and Fashion and Textiles. Participants will engage in bespoke workshops tailored to their interests, from theoretical discussions to hands-on activities. They'll capture Singapore's beauty through a photography walk and explore cultural treasures at the National Gallery. Local artist visits will provide insights into the creative process.

The week concludes with an exhibition of student projects, including a 'legacy' artwork displayed on campus. In the Fine Art pathway, students collaborate with Rippleroot artist collective, translating imagery from their Singapore tour into captivating canvas works. Applied Art and Design workshops cover sneaker design, lamp crafting, and silversmithing. Fashion and Textiles students start with a masterclass by textile artist Deborah McKeller, incorporating Singaporean inspirations into their creations using various textile techniques.

Join us for a week of artistic exploration and innovation, leaving a lasting imprint on both the canvas and the soul.
