Relevant Experience
Mike joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2018. He commenced his teaching career in South London in 2013 working in Year 5, taking on several roles.
With a keen passion and desire for travel, Mike moved to Dubai working for an international school there, gaining valuable experience in teaching culturally diverse classes and developing skills for utilising ICT within the classroom.
In previous roles at Worsley Bridge Primary School in Beckenham, South London, Mike led the ‘Wider Opportunities’ Department, which included PE, Educational Visits, Clubs, and Forest School. As Head of PE, he was also able to initiate a number of sports events, staff training, and offer a wide variety of sports activities at the school.
Now well established at Dulwich, Mike has gained experience in all year groups within the Junior School. As well as gaining leadership experience on the Accelerate programme, Mike is now Assistant Head of Year 6 where he continues to develop an enriching curriculum with the team.
