What is your favourite/ are some of your favourite memories of working at DCSG?

My fondest memories were during the early days when we shared offices under one roof - Headmaster, Admissions, Marketing and Administrators were all in one office space at Junior School. It was so easy to communicate with one another, and help was just a table away. Christmas is also something I always look forward to as Dulwich parents shower us with chocolates and candies.

Why is Dulwich College (Singapore) special to you?

What is most special is how all of us from different backgrounds come together as one Dulwich Family. It’s a special bond that's not quite easy to explain in words. Everybody's voice is heard, no matter how small.

What are your hopes and aspirations for the school's future as it enters its second decade?

I have seen many staff, students, parents leave Dulwich with a heavy heart because they are leaving behind their loved ones, their teachers, friends and even their sense of inclusion at Dulwich. I hope that we continue to have this union with future generations...

In what ways have you seen the students and alumni's lives positively impacted by their experiences at the school? Are there any specific success stories that come to mind?

Being here for some time, I have seen students returning to visit us and I am always touched when they make an effort to remember my name and tell me that their parents have sent their love too.

Is there a message or reflection you'd like to share with the school's students and their families as part of this celebration?

There are many amongst us who are far away from their loved ones, friends and comfort spaces. A smile can mean a lot to the person who receives it. You may never know whose heart you may have touched. Be kind to those around you. It doesn't cost a cent.
