Qualifications

Claire joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2025.  She has spent much of her career working with children with additional needs. She began as a Learning Support Teacher in Edinburgh and after 6 years she decided to move internationally. Since 2012 Claire has worked in Asia and has been lucky to work in Thailand, Hong Kong and Japan. Most recently she has been founding Head of Learning Support and EAL for a premium international school in India. Claire has also spent much of her career working in Early Years and Key Stage 1 and feels passionately that early intervention can be fundamental in enabling children to reach their potential.

In 2022, Claire took a break from teaching and worked with a refugee charity in Europe to provide play therapy for displaced children and provide English to adults seeking asylum.

Claire enjoys travelling and has visited nearly forty countries. She likes to visit her friends and family around the world. Claire likes animals and hopes one day to have a dog of her own.
