Relevant Experience
Elaine joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in April 2022 as a Music Supply Teacher. Elaine has been a peripatetic piano teacher in the IMT program at DCSG since 2018. Before she moved to Singapore, she taught Music at Jakarta Montessori School and Music Education in Universitas Pelita Harapan (Jakarta).
Elaine has a particular interest in how children learn music through movement, singing and improvising. She enjoys singing and has performed in and conducted choirs in schools. Elaine also enjoys playing the piano and accompanying vocalists and other instrumentalists.
Having lived and worked in Jakarta, Indonesia for many years, she is enjoying being back in her home country of Singapore.
