  • Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Press and Editorial Photography, Falmouth University, UK
  • Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) specialising in KS1, EYFS and Art, Roehampton University, UK

 

Relevant Experience

Emily followed her passion for the arts, completing a Degree in Press and Editorial Photography in Cornwall, UK. She then went on to work for major news agencies as a picture editor enjoying the dynamic and demanding environment. She decided to complete a PGCE specialising in EYFS, KS1 and Art and took her first role as Year 1 teacher in a competitive and international independent school in central London. Emily enjoyed celebrating the languages and diversity in her classroom and helped prepare children for the demanding 7+ and 8+ examinations. Following this, her next teaching position was as a Nursery teacher at another diverse Independent school in London, taking the role as Reception teacher the following year. Emily joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2019.

 

Emily loves travelling and continues to fulfil her interest in the arts and sports through photography and taking part in many tennis competitions. Emily is joined in Singapore by her husband William.
