Relevant Experience
Michel joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2022. She previously worked at a Multi Academy Trust located in Maidenhead, England. This has offered her the opportunity to build up a wealth of teaching experience in Key Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2. Michel led Maths and ICT in her previous teaching posts, and she is passionate about integrating ICT into her classroom practices.
Originally from South Africa, Michel has spent most of her life travelling the world. This has inspired her to pursue her dream of teaching abroad where she can utilise her skills to support children in becoming happy, independent learners who strive to reach their full potential.
Through all her travels, Michel has become fascinated with different cultures and communities and enjoys trying traditional meals and partaking in activities enjoyed by the locals. She also enjoys a wide variety of activities, including snorkelling, mini golf, movies and cosying up with a good book.
