Relevant Experience
Millie joined Dulwich College (Singapore) in August 2022. She has previously worked for 5 years in a Nursery and Infant School in Twickenham and has 2 years’ experience working in a special needs school for children with ASD, and great experience teaching Key Stage 1.
Millie is originally from Twickenham and has lived locally most her life. In her previous school Millie was the English Reading Lead and was responsible for the reading curriculum and provision across Early Years and Key Stage 1. This year she has also worked as a panellist for the SPARK! Book Awards in her borough. Having grown up in an environment in which learning and creativity were highly valued, Millie enjoys sharing these values with her new students.
On a personal level, Millie has a keen interest in reading, art and theatre and loves to spend days in London at the galleries or theatres there. Millie also loves to travel and experience different cultures – something that has brought her to many different places including California, Cambodia, Spain and now Singapore.
