1. Curriculum Talks Webinars: 15 - 16 August, 2024
Parents joining DUCKS are invited to join our Curriculum Talk Webinar sessions led by their respective Year Group Leaders and other academic team members. They will share detailed information about what you and your child can look forward to in the new term. It is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have ahead of the start of year. These are a “must join” item for all new DUCKS families.

2. New Family Orientation Day: 19 August, 2024
New families are warmly invited to attend our New Family Orientation Day on Monday, 19 August.
The day consists of an Orientation Fair, and Meet the Teacher sessions. The Orientation Fair (9am to 3pm) is a drop-in session in our Performing Arts Centre providing a face-to-face opportunity to learn about College services (school buses, lunches, uniform, CCAs and tech support) as well as meeting members of our academic departments (Sport, Music, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Design Technology, Global Citizenship).
We would recommend that children come along with you, as you will also have the chance to meet your child’s class teacher and visit their classroom. Children can dress casually and do not need to wear their school uniform

3. Toddlers Personalised Settling-In Programme
The DUCKS team has crafted a personalised settling-in programme for our young children joining into Toddlers, so as to ensure the best start to their educational journey. This programme allows parents and children to spend time with their class teachers on the following days during pre-allocated timeslots. These sessions provide an invaluable opportunity for parents and teachers to understand your child's unique needs and discuss tailored strategies to support their transition into the Toddlers class. We look forward to working together to make this a smooth and joyful experience for your little one. More information on the pre-allocated slots will be shared with you in due course.

Each child is assigned a 15-minute time slot to meet with their class teacher. You will be notified of your scheduled slot along with your class and teacher information in an email at the beginning of August. These sessions will be scheduled between 10.30am and 2.30pm. |

4. Friends of Dulwich (FoD) Coffee Mornings
This is an opportunity for parents to meet the Friends of Dulwich team, as well as other new and returning families within the community. You’ll have an opportunity to meet members of the College Leadership Team, hear about upcoming Friends of Dulwich events, and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in great company.
