Student Immigration
Immigration and Visas
All students must also have a valid visa in place before their first day of school. We are legally unable to allow a student to start studying at the College without proof of a valid visa.
Please ensure that the Admissions Team receives a copy of the relevant immigration visa that your child holds. You must share proof of Valid Visa and/or immigration Documents by uploading them onto your admissions checklist items:
In order for children to be eligible to attend an international school in Singapore, the school must have received one of the following documents with valid expiration dates:
- Dependent Pass card;
- Student Pass digital card;
- Long Term Visit Pass card;
- Singapore PR Forms 5A and 7;
- Immigration Exemption Order (IEO) or;
- Approval of MOE Exemption for Singapore Citizens.
The following students will require a Student’s Pass:
-
if parents are Singapore Permanent Residents, but the student holds a Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP)
-
if neither parent has an Employment Pass
-
if students are not eligible for a Dependant Pass
For students requiring a Student's Pass, the Admissions Team will apply for a Student’s Pass via the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) SOLAR+ System. Parents will need to complete the application online for ICA to process. You will be notified by ICA in every change of the application status or request for further information (if applicable). Once the application is issued with an In-Principle Approval Letter (IPA), this will include the following information:
-
Course Start Date
-
Medical Checkup (if applicable)
-
ICA Formalities and collection of Student’s Pass Digital Card (by appointment)
NOTE: According to ICA’s requirement, Student Pass holders must meet the minimum 90% monthly attendance. For more information on the ICA Student’s Pass requirements, please click here.
If you are facing any delays in obtaining a visa before your child’s first day of school, please contact the Admissions team, and we will be able to support you and clarify with you on next steps.
