Student Immigration
Immigration and Visas
In accordance with Singapore’s immigration regulations, all students must hold a valid visa prior to their first day of school. Dulwich College (Singapore) is legally required to verify each student’s immigration status, and students will not be permitted to commence school without proof of a valid visa.
We accept the following visa types for student enrolment (must show valid expiration dates):
- Dependent Pass card (front & back);
- Student's Pass digital card;
- Long Term Visit Pass card;
- Singapore PR Forms 5A and 7;
- Immigration Exemption Order (IEO) or;
- Approval of MOE Exemption for Singapore Citizens.
To facilitate timely processing, please upload a copy of your child’s visa and/or relevant immigration documents to the Admissions Portal. We appreciate your attention to this important requirement.
The following students will require a Student’s Pass:
-
if neither parent has an Employment Pass
-
if students are not eligible for a Dependant Pass
For students requiring a Student's Pass, the Admissions Team will submit a Student’s Pass registration via the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) SOLAR+ System. Parents will need to complete the application online for ICA to process. You will be notified by ICA in every change of the application status or request for further information (if applicable). Once the application is issued with an In-Principle Approval Letter (IPA), this will include the following information:
-
Course Start Date
-
Medical Checkup (if applicable)
-
ICA Formalities and collection of Student’s Pass Digital Card (by appointment)
NOTE: According to ICA’s requirement, Student Pass holders must meet the minimum 90% monthly attendance. For more information on the ICA Student’s Pass requirements, please click here.
If you are facing any delays in obtaining a visa before your child’s first day of school, please contact the Admissions team, and we will be able to support you and clarify with you on next steps.
